This leather handbag presents traditional Chinese landscape ink paintings in a three-dimensional form and blends them with modern fashion.
Taking inspiration and reference from traditional Chinese landscape ink wash paintings, I attempted to extract their unique features, simplify them, and blend them with a modern sense of design, creating a layered mountain shape with a sense of depth and texture.
In terms of design, the logo has been discreetly hidden on the handle to keep the exterior leather surface simple and without excessive decoration, drawing the viewer's attention naturally to the mountain shape of the bag. The left and right handles are fastened together using a magnetic buckle. The magnets are concealed within the leather, and when aligned, the left and right handles come together to form a single curved handle. The fastening is achieved by aligning a convex and concave shape on each.
