Wo-Room can help users easily cultivate edible mealworms at home. By controlling the environment and the storage method, the quality and flavor of the mealworms can be improved.
By 2050, the global population will increase by 25%, but arable land will only grow by 5%. This creates a food shortage problem, leading scientists to consider insects as a sustainable and resource-efficient alternative due to their high nutritional value.
I aim to design a product that allows easy breeding and consumption of mealworms at home, integrating edible insects into daily diets. The product will provide a user-friendly way to cultivate mealworms and enjoy the benefits of insect protein.
